Friendly people. Love their tacos! The manager is a nice young lady. She also mentioned they have a Karaoke night. Can't wait to come back

Let me start by saying that I would give it a 3 1/2 stars but it is not an option here.
This is a restaurant that my sister and husband go to very often. They love the food and service here and decided to invite me last Saturday. It is a small restaurant with only few tables but cool ambiance. Very homie feel. It has a bar on the side where you can have a drink or order food.
We ordered the guacamole and the queso fundido with chorizo to start. My sister prefers the guacamole which was good but I really liked the queso fundido although it was very greasy and they leave big chunks of chorizo instead of cutting it up a little. For my entree, I ordered the Carne Asada. I liked it, founded pretty good. I ordered the michelada and was not impressed. My sister ordered the flautas and she enjoyed it very much. My brother in law ordered the Bistec mexicano and didn't like it at all. To be fair, I think he was expecting something else but ordered it incorrectly.
I think the service was not the best. We had ordered chicken tenders for my niece and they brought out some sort of chicken chunks which had bones. We told her (nicely) that it was not what we ordered and my 4yrs old niece wouldn't eat it. She then told us they didn't have chicken tenders and that's what they had. We didn't make a big deal about it but thought they would at least not charge....nope, we were charged. I guess the other waiter heard about it and came to our table to apologize and offered free dessert. That was nice of her.
I will give it another try but make sure we don't get the same lady. Maybe she was new. Giving it the benefit of the doubt. -

This was a terrible start to our South Florida adventure! I went on yelp of course to look for good, authentic Mexican cuisine in our area. Turned out to be a little hole in the wall and my first thought was: perfect!
The hole in the wall places are always where you find the best food, best service... except for this place. The service was terrible and the waitress kept ringing in our orders wrong. Their cheese dip was literally microwaved shredded cheddar and greasy "chorizo" which tasted like Jimmy Dean sausage.
The burritos and chimichanga both had the strangest textures inside. Almost as if the meat had been puréed.. super gross. Only thing that was good was the steak and chicken fajitas! Amazing flavor and great portion. Would only go back for this and even that's a maybe. -
